DAAR Awards and Recognition

The Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® encourages members to achieve the highest level of professionalism in the industry. Each year, DAAR's Honor Society and REALTOR® of the Year publicly recognizes members for rising to the top of their industry in terms of sales, community service, education, and association involvement. Congratulations to our 2007 DAAR Honor Society members and REALTOR® of the Year.

DAAR Honor Society  DAAR's Honor Society recognizes the high professional achievement of members who seek excellence through education, rise to the top in sales production and voluntarily contribute their expertise, time and skills to the association and community. The people who bring credit to the real estate industry deserve the special recognition of their peers and their community. DAAR's Honor Society is designed to bring them that recognition.

• Eligibility DAAR's Honor Society program awards points for current professional REALTOR® activities that ultimately result in better service to clients and customers. All activities, except designations, must occur between January 1st and December 31st of the qualifying year to be counted. • Awards DAAR Honor Society members will be recognized through a variety of methods, including recognition at DAAR meetings, website, press releases, full page ad in local papers and certificates.
• To Apply  To apply for membership in the 2008 DAAR Honor Society, you need to complete the 2008 Honor Society application form, certify it with the signature of your principal or managing broker's signature and return it to Alecia Moroz, DAAR, 803 Sycolin Road, #222, Leesburg, VA  20175 or email to amoroz@dullesarea.com. 

DAAR REALTOR® of the Year award is given to the member who has shown outstanding leadership, commitment, and skill in the real estate industry. Applicants are judged on contributions to the industry, outstanding qualities, and any additional factors that set the individual apart in the award year.

State and National Awards

Virginia Association of REALTORS® VAR offers several awards and recognition in several categories including Appraiser of the Year, Hall of Fame, Honor Society, Omega Tau Rho, Outstanding Real Estate Educator, Property Manager of the Year, REALTOR® Code of Ethics Leadership Award, Sales Associate of the Year, VAR Manager of the Year and VAR REALTOR® of the Year.  Several nominations can be submitted using interactive online forms. Open the form you need; fill in the blanks, then print and save, or email the completion application to carole@varealtor.com.

National Association of REALTORS® NAR's recognizes those REALTORS® who make outstanding contributions to their communities, promote homeownership opportunities and make a life-long committment to real estate through the Good Neighbor Awards and HOPE Awards and REALTOR Emeritus Program.
